Song of the Day: Lord Huron – The Stranger

This morning I was driving, feeling like the day was destined to be wasted – two of the dogs and I were on an errand and it was raining too hard to go on a walk (our collective reason for living) – then I turned the channel to KEXP (almost always a good move) and they were playing this song and all of a sudden, I thought it was way too early in the day to be thinking like a loser.

That’s a pretty solid criteria for a song of the day: single-handedly changing the trajectory of the moment. Thank you Lord Huron. While, I’m pretty sure I don’t want to go hunting with you, I hope to see your show at the Tractor on April 10.
